What is a part-time master?

The work-integrated Master's degree programmes (WIM) are designed for IT professionals, who work in a Computer Science field for at least 25 hours per week while pursuing their studies part-time. Read more about programme structure as well as admission and employment requirements.

The academic title and competencies are the same as a two-year full-time master degree.

What courses will I take?

You must complete 120 ECTS credits during the programme (similar to the two-year full-time programme), but the ECTS credits can be spread over four years. A complete list of the master courses offered by the department can be found here. You can also take courses from other departments. Your final study plan will be tailored to your interests.

Who studies a part-time master?

The programme is open to both Danish and international applicants. Some begin right after completing their bachelor, while others have worked for a few years. It can also be a great fit for those who do not qualify for the Danish student grant (SU).
