Visual Computing: Computer Graphics and Vision for Interactive and Immersive Systems

Research Focus

In our research, we explore the intersection of computer graphics and computer vision to enable interactive and immersive visual experiences. It focuses on techniques such as novel view synthesis, computational videography, and perception-aware rendering to support next-generation systems for spatial computing, smart displays, and immersive environments.

Social Impact

By advancing how visual information is captured, generated, and experienced, this work contributes to more intuitive human-computer interaction, inclusive access to complex data, and new forms of storytelling, collaboration, and spatial understanding. We anticipate that this will shape the future of immersive digital technologies with different applications across education, healthcare, sports and culture.
