Bio:
Florian Echtler is an associate professor in the Human-Centered Computing Section at Aalborg University. He received his PhD from TUM in Munich in 2009, and has previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Siemens Corporate Technology and as assistant professor at University of Regensburg and Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. His research focuses on usable decentralized systems, peer-to-peer communication, and on employing these paradigms with novel forms of interaction such as tangibles, mobiles and wearables, or interactive surfaces.
