Title
Tomorrow's Cryptography: A Journey of VOLEs, Cheese and Quantum-Safe Communication

Abstract
In our data-driven world, the field of cryptography can offer far more than just securing communication. It now encompasses a diverse landscape where challenges of data privacy, secure computation and quantum threats intersect. In this talk, I will shed some light on my research in these domains over the last few years. Along the way, I introduce a key tool called VOLE (vector oblivious linear evaluation), which was first conceived of in protocols for secure computation. We will explore how VOLE has proven instrumental in shaping recent advances in diverse areas such as zero-knowledge proofs and quantum-safe digital signatures. To conclude, we will look ahead to some future research challenges which I hope to tackle.
