Title: Delay Functions from a Lattice Assumption
Abstract: Can delay functions be based on a cryptographic assumption about general (not depth restricted) adversaries? In this talk I will show how to build a delay function from decomposed SIS, a new lattice assumption related to decomposed LWE (https://ia.cr/2025/339) which makes no mention of adversary depth. Along the way I will discuss BGG+ encodings and correlation intractable hashing, and show how to build space-succinct correlation intractable hashing from decomposed SIS.
