Experience Mixed Reality Demo Day from the 2026 edition of our courses “Mixed Reality User Experiences” (MRUX) and “Visual Computing for Immersive and Computational Displays” (VCICD) at the Department of Computer Science, Aarhus University.

Mixed Reality Demo Day offers an exciting programme, with lots of really cool Mixed Reality prototype demos aimed at exploring the themes “Mixed Reality for the Future of Work” and “Towards the Ultimate Display”.

There is no formal programme, rather the event is open, situated in a flexible space with time for visitors to walk around and experience 15+ different Mixed Reality demos developed by this year’s cohort of MRUX and VCICD students. 

The students use the Demo Day as an opportunity to do some informal data collection on their user experience, which they will analyse and reflect on in their project reports. By participating in the event, you give consent to the students to collect anonymous user data from the session where you try their demo.

There will be light catering, and you are welcome to drop by anytime during the time window for a demo and a snack.
