Aarhus University PhD Association (AUPA) and PhD Association, Health hereby invite you to a workshop on mental well-being!

Many PhD students around the world and at AU experience challenges such as increased pressure, loneliness, inner criticism, fear of failure or lack of confidence, which lead to stress and stress-related consequences. Self-compassion is a powerful and gentle way to work with these challenges and to support us when things are getting tough or don’t go our way.

Join us for this 2h experiential workshop to learn how self-compassion can support you to reduce stress and increase your wellbeing, how to become calmer and happier, how to succeed not through putting even more pressure on you, but through treating and motivating yourself with kindness and care.

Carmen Manea is a Self-compassion, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Cultivating Emotional Balance facilitator and coach who is passionate about bringing this topics in academia to support PhD students to navigate more at ease this important period in their career.

There will be sandwiches and something to drink at the workshop.
