MADALGO core researcher Piotr Indyk has been elected Fellow by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) for "contributions to high-dimensional geometric computing, streaming/sketching algorithms, and Sparce Fourier Transform". ACM Fellow is the most prestigious member grade of ACM and is only awarded to the top 1 % of the more than 100.000 members.
