The Workshop on Algorithms in Bioinformatics covers research in all aspects of algorithmic work in bioinformatics. This includes:
WABI 2001 is sponsored by EATCS (the European Association for Theoretical Computer Science) and jointly organized and colocated with WAE 2001 and ESA 2001. For more information (program committee, keynote speakers, scientific program, ...) see the WABI 2001 web site. Poster sessions will be organized during the workshop. Moreover, 5mn of oral presentation per poster will be allowed in the regular sessions. The emphasis is on work that address important and new problems in molecular biology, while being founded on sound models and efficient algorithms. Double submissions or recently published results corresponding to this scope would be welcome. A volume containing the abstracts of accepted posters will be available at the workshop. Poster abstracts must be one or two-page long and prepared according to the LNCS style. They must contain: the title; the authors and their addresses; an extended abstract, using the main text style (10-point type and single line spacing); the references. A standard postscript or PDF file must be sent to both chairs of the workshop, Olivier Gascuel (gascuel@lirmm.fr) and Bernard Moret (moret@cs.unm.edu), before July 25, 2001 (extended deadline). Authors will be notified about acceptance before July 29. |
