PeerWise - An interactive system for creating and sharing multiple choice questions

You have the chance to contribute with questions for the upcoming exam.

We will use the system PeerWise for this activity. PeerWise is a system where students can create and share multiple choice questions, test their knowledge on already uploaded questions, comment upon existing questions, and grade the quality and difficulty of the questions.

If all students in the course just upload one single question we would have +100 multiple choice questions as a starting point for preparing for the exam !

There is no guarantee that the questions in PeerWise will be used verbatim at the exam, but it is very likely that some of the exam questions will be inspired by the questions uploaded. Experience shows that PeerWise is a very useful tool for students preparing for an exam - but it only works if students contribute actively with questions and comments in the system. If you have been struggling with a concept - independently if it is easy or a hard concept - posting a multiple choice question capturing your problems might help others on the concept.

Start using Peerwise

Go to the Aarhus University entry page at PeerWise. The first time you use the system you need to visit the registration page, where you can create a personal account. The course ID for the IPSA course is 20525. Your identifier for the course will be your AU ID (for simplicity, I create this for all users registered in Blackboard for the course).

The system does not prevent you from registering using another students AU ID - but registering using another students AU ID is of course not acceptable behaviour.
