Computing Exact Ground-States of Hard Ising Spin-Glass
Cologne. Work package 4. November 2003.
Abstract: When studying ground-state properties of Ising spin-glasses, the computation of exact groundstates, i.e., spin configurations with exact rather than approximate minimum energy, is often desirable. The Ising model is one of the most commonly used, both for its simplicity and its accuracy in describing many real world systems. When we refer to a spin-glass in this chapter, we always have the Ising model in mind.
