Sampling 10-colourings of the triangular lattice

Abstract: We use a new inductive argument to show that the spin-system consisting of the proper 10-colourings of the infinite triangular lattice has strong spatial mixing. This implies that it has a unique infinite-volume Gibbs measure and that Glauber dynamics is rapidly mixing on any finite piece of this lattice.
