Hotel CABINN

A group of rooms for summer school participants has been blocked at the CABINN hotel (see video presentation) in downtown Aarhus; it is easy to get from downtown Aarhus to the conference site in the Computer Science Department of University of Aarhus. CABINN is a relatively new (and thus relatively nice) budget hotel. Suggestions for more upscale hotels will appear on this page shortly.

We have negotiated a special rate for two classes of rooms for the August 19 to August 25 period:

* Economy (called "single" on the CABINN web-site):
   60 Euro per night single
   76 Euro per night double

* Commodore:
   68.50 Euro per night single
   84.50 Euro per night double

Breakfast is an additional 6.70 Euro per day per person for both room types.

Hotel reservations should be made directly with the hotel! In order to obtain the special rate you should make the reservation by sending an email to the hotel at Aarhus@cabinn.dk no later than June 22 (you should NOT use the online reservation form on the hotel web site!). The email should contain the following information:

* Booking number 19494
* Room preference (economy or commodore; single or double)
* Breakfast indication (breakfast or no breakfast)
* Arrival and departure dates
* First and last name(s) of occupant(s)
* Nationality of occupant(s)

• Hotel Scandic Plaza Århus *** 
  
  We often use this hotel for MADALGO visitors. Its conveniently located downtown across from the main train station (where the Aarhus airport bus also arrives) and with easy access to the bus to the University. 
  
  
• Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts ****
  
  Nice first class hotel located in the Scandinavian Center Aarhus (where the Billund airport bus arrives) next to the Aarhus Music Hall and very close to the Scandic Plaza hotel. We also often use this hotel for visitors. 
  
  
• Comfort Hotel Atlantic ***
  
  Located close to the CABINN hotel. Should be nice but we don't really know it.
  
  
• Helnan Marselis Hotel **** 
  
  Located a few kolometers away from the city center (and requires a bus change to go to the University) but in a very, very nice location right on the ocean. Every room (as far as we know) has sea-view.
