A new COronaVIDen app encourages citizens to help understand the Corona pandemic

The new COronaVIDen app is a research app that collects activity data from smartphones, smartwatches and fitnessbands. Researchers from Department of Computer Science participate in the research project that analyse the collected activity and questionnaire data from citizens.

On Sept. 1, Sergei joined CVP as a PhD student. Sergei finished his bachelor degree at the Southern Federal University, Rostov-on-Don, Russia. During his final year, Sergei worked as a Haskell programmer. For his thesis, Sergei worked on the formalization of term-rewriting systems in Arend.

Zongyuan Lui joins CPV as PhD student from October 1. Until then he works as a reserach ass. Zongyuan completed a BSc at Southeast University, China in 2019. After one year at the master's degree in Aarhus, he transferred to PhD, and is now making use of Iris logic to verify real world hypervisors.
