Coming from Abroad

International PhD Section

A PhD portal for international students has been established, and a lot of helpful information, guidance and support can be found on the website.

Usually it is very hard to find both nice, conveniently located, AND cheap accommodation in Aarhus, since Aarhus is a university city which attracts many new students every year. For this reason the International Centre at Aarhus University will help assist you in getting a temporary place to stay upon your arrival. Read more about getting accommodation here.

Residence/work permit, CPR number and Tax - visit International Citizen Service (ICS)

The rules by which to obtain a residence/work permit in Denmark may be complicated, so all you need to do now is to visit ICS, where all practical required information is gathered in one place.

ICS office hours are Thursdays 1pm - 5pm and Fridays 9am - 1pm
