All PhD students at the Computer Science Department of Aarhus University are affiliated with the BRICS PhD school.

BRICS recruits Danish as well as foreign students of high international standard, and we also have a program for visiting PhD students from other universitites. 

BRICS provides infrastructure and support for PhD students and supervisors in connection with qualification exams and defenses, and it supports various activities for PhD students, including retreats, courses and leisure activities.

In day-to-day operation, the Aarhus branch of BRICS functions as a part of AGSoS (Aarhus Graduate School of Science)

BRICS is lead by the PhD committee, chaired by BRICS director Ivan Damgård
