The Department of Computer Science at Aarhus University focuses on at wide range of interest fields within computer science and offers education for students with both technical approaches as well as approaches within design, user interfaces, business etc.
We have about 1135 students distributed between two bachelor programmes, one masters programme, a PhD programme and the continuing education programme.

IT Programme
The Bachelor’s degree programme in IT at the Department for Computer Science, Aarhus University places particular emphasis on giving the student competencies within Computer Science combined with knowledge of product design and business understanding.
PhD Programme
All PhD students at the Computer Science Department of Aarhus University are affiliated with the BRICS PhD school.
BRICS recruits Danish as well as foreign students of high international standard, and we also have a program for visiting PhD students from other universitites.
