Simon Wimmer receives Marie Sklodowska-Curie European fellowship

Postdoc Simon Wimmer from the Logic and Semantics research group at Department of Computer Science, receives the highly prestigious Marie Sklodowska-Curie individual European fellowship of EUR 207.312.

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowships are among Europe’s most competitive and prestigious awards, aimed at supporting the best and most promising scientists. The fellowship aim to foster the career development and further training of excellent researchers.

“I am delighted that the European Commission has decided to support my research with this important fellowship. It will give me two years to explore the research path that I set foot on at the end of my PhD in a range of interesting directions. This will allow me to develop myself as a researcher, and I am grateful to be given this opportunity at AU,” says Simon Wimmer.
