Abstract: Poul-Henning Kamp

You're doing it wrong.

"Reading a sea chart is one thing, navigating a ship another" as Ludvig Holberg wrote, and a diploma in geodesy will not improve the situation markedly.  Based on 25 years of experience in systems programming, Poul-Henning will try to spotlight the gap between what CS majors spend their time learning and what the rest of the world expects from them.

About Poul-Henning Kamp:

Poul-Henning Kamp is well-known for his views on open source software, the beerware license, and his contributions to the FreeBSD operating system and the Varnish cache.
