The operation of various infrastructures nowadays is dependent on interconnected and resource constraint devices. In these Internet of Things, embedded device, or Industrial Control System scenarios, devices are operated outside the direct, physical control of the owner which makes them attractive to attackers aiming to disrupt the operation of target infrastructures. Threat Sustainable Systems aim to provide control even during a catastrophic event. The talk introduces security concepts and first results from my research and outlines future research directions.
