International PhD Section

When coming to the Department of Computer Science from abroad we will try to find a mentor, who will help you get settled in regards to getting a personal citizens number, taxes, local questions etc.

A PhD portal for international students has been established, and a lot of helpful information, guidance and support can be found on the website.

Usually it is very hard to find both nice, conveniently located, AND cheap accommodation in Aarhus, since Aarhus is a university city which attracts many new students every year. For this reason the International Centre at Aarhus University will help assist you in getting a temporary place to stay upon your arrival. Read more about getting accommodation here.

University International Club

Aarhus University also has an International Club  (UIC) that provides a social and cultural meeting place for international and Danish staff members alike, as well as their families.

At International Club you can participate in various activities, all free of charge, and meet other fellow collegues from the university in an informal, social setting.

Everyone is most welcome!

International Community is a joint initiative created by Erhverv Århus, based on a strong initiative on the part of Vestas, Danisco, Terma, Aarhus University and the Municipality of Aarhus.
