Get closer to our researchers and students

Creating growth through research and student collaboration

Department of Computer Science has a long tradition for collaboration with business and industry. Through joint research projects we work closely with companies in developing new technologies and transforming research into practical application. We are always open for new ways to cooperate based on a common interest in research, development  and education in computer science and information technology in general.

Department of Computer Science has a professional profile with world leading researchers within many disciplines. We are used to interdisciplinarity and to undertake both basic and application-oriented research. Department of Computer Science is building an innovative culture where students and faculty at all levels contribute to entrepreneurship. Thus we have wide possibilities to contribute to development of novel products and services as well as competences in your business. Such collaborations are typically funded via Innovation Fund Denmark’s Grand Solutions or InnoBooster programmes.

Private companies and public institutions may also be involved in educational activities for the computer science students, e.g. via external lectureships to teach courses or offering cases for student projects. Finally, we have an industrial advisory board for CS degree programs in computer science and IT product development.

Collaboration ranges from full fledged applied research project partnerships, over industrial PhD's and industrial postdocs, to numerous continuing education programmes and networking between scientists and companies. On these web pages you will find information on how to connect to researchers and students at the Department of Computer Science.
